Happiness Is Accepting That Perfection Is Impossible
There’s very little I love more than waking up on a fall morning after a Utah Football victory. There’s a bite to the morning air; the sun hasn’t fully risen and bathed the valley in warm sunlight. My neighbor’s sprinklers are still running and there is a small rainbow forming just above my fence line. The birds are waking up, chirping, and celebrating another chance to live on this beautiful earth. The dogs are sniffing and scratching, still too full from breakfast to do their morning zooms. It’s nearly perfect patio weather. And on top of all of that, I am celebrating a big Utah win to open the season. This is as good as it gets.
